What is Twelve Tone Music Academy?

Here at Twelve Tone Music Academy, we know that everyone learns differently, so we tailor our lessons around each student to help them not only learn, but thrive!

An important part of our lessons are our ability to adapt each lesson to each student so they get the most out of their tuition. We encourage all students (and parents!) to speak to their teacher about how their music is going and ask as many questions as they can. Our tutors are here to support you!

Whats Twelve Tone?

Twelve Tone refers to the 12 different notes we use on most instruments we teach and is used to write most of the music we listen to on a daily basis.

Our history

Our teaching journey started in 2014, where our founder, Brooke, started teaching piano professionally at 18, after training with her own piano teacher for many years, she then continued to teach at various music schools across Perth.

During this time she also started teaching privately from her home, which then quickly became her full time job.

Eventually the school grew and added more instruments, becoming Brooke’s School of Music in 2022.

Only continuing to grow from there in 2025 we have become Twelve Tone Music Academy, with students and teachers from all over to study the art of music!

I handle all bookings and behind the scenes.

When teaching I specialise in advanced students.

  • Tavish-Piano teacher

Hello! I'm Tavish and I've enjoyed playing on the piano ever since I can remember. I've completed all ABRSM grades, and I'm happy to teach students of all ages, whether they are a beginner or already have some know how.

To me, learning is about being able to enjoy what you do, and everyone has their own pace.

I specialise in older and adult students.

  • Noah-Guitar, Ukulele and Drum teacher

Hi, I'm Noah, I'm currently studying music and working through Rockschool/AMEB qualifications. I have been playing music for around 10 years now and enjoyed every second of it. I am happy to teach students of all ages, and whether you have just started playing or you've been playing for a while now.

I believe that learning is a process that you should enjoy and be rewarded in the progress you make, at any pace. I specialise in younger and beginner students.
